I have been attending Daisy classes with Fi from being pregnant right through to bringing my daughter along. We have absolutely loved the classes and Fi has always created such wonderful supportive atmosphere. The groups are also so much fun and we have also met some other lovely mums and babies along the way. We will be sad to finish but thankful to have been part of the Daisy journey! Couldn’t recommend more! Laura and Sophieread more

Have thoroughly enjoyed both Tinies and Wrigglers - they’re a lovely chance for baby to interact with Mum and other babies, plus a chance for Mum to find some calm and discuss what is going on right now. Fi is full of useful knowledge about birth and beyond. My only regret is not doing the prenatal classes too!read more

How do antenatal classes work?

Daisy Birthing® will help you stay active in pregnancy, ease those pregnancy symptoms and prepare you for a confident and calmer birth!

Classes can be started from 14 weeks of pregnancy and are taught over a six-week term. Women can do as many terms as they wish until baby is born to help with muscle memory so that the techniques become inherent during labour.

Plus you feel all the benefits through pregnancy too.

How Daisy Foundation Birth Classes®can help you

My name is Fi and I am your local Sheffield provider of antenatal classes with The Daisy Foundation. Come and find like minded mums preparing for birth in a relaxed and empowering setting. Learn how to move with your baby and connect with your ability to birth.

I am passionate about helping you find your way through your birth process. First time, second time or even more it doesn’t matter how many babies you have birthed or how or where you birthed them, come along to a class and experience the gentle flowing style of movement and peer support.

I am also able put you in touch with various groups and individuals in Sheffield who may be able to offer help and support for your journey.

I was a Daisy mum and enjoyed it so much I became a Daisy Foundation teacher

I first came across these pregnancy classes in March 2013 when I was pregnant with my second baby. I had bad Pelvic Girdle Pain and was looking for an antenatal class which would help me find the best way through my birth. I loved the weekly birth classes so much I booked a couples workshop to fully include my husband.

I safely delivered a healthy baby boy in May 2013 at home. I attribute my wonderful birth experience to the preparation I had done with The Daisy Foundation. You can read about my birth story in my “about” page and see a short video of my home water birth.
I found the whole Daisy journey so useful and enjoyable I decided to become a Daisy Foundation teacher.

The cost for a 6 week course is £72. Classes are suitable from the 14th week of pregnancy up to the final weeks, of course the sooner you start to prepare the more benefit you can gain.

Want to combine birth preparation with practical baby care workshops? Then book onto the Parent Course as well.

For more information on the costs of all classes like baby massage, baby yoga, antenatal classes etc see my fees page

You can book by getting in touch with me through this website or through the Daisy Foundation website or just give me a call, my details are all here on every page.

Both my husband and I met with Fi shortly before the birth of my second child, Thomas. After a difficult experience first time around, I was anxious about the forthcoming labour and early newborn phase. Fi was extremely understanding, kind and supportive. She helped us tackle some practical anxieties and enabled us to approach things second time around with more control and confidence. I also managed to attend some of her Daisy Move pre-natal sessions at short notice which were fantastic. I thoroughly recommend Fi to anyone who is approaching childbirth with any degree of anxiety. She turned things around for us and we are immensely grateful for her timely involvement. Thank you!read more
